Ireland Online Safety Code age-assurance rules — Coimisiun na Mean Online Safety Code (Part B)

Coimisiun na Mean's binding Online Safety Code, adopted 21 October 2024, requires designated video-sharing platforms established in Ireland to use effective age assurance so minors cannot access pornographic or gratuitous-violence content. Self-declaration such as ticking a box is expressly insufficient. The relevant Part B obligations became applicable on 21 July 2025.
