Australia age-assurance codes for online pornography — Online Safety Act 2021 - Phase 2 industry codes (age-restricted material)

The eSafety Commissioner registered Phase 2 industry codes on 9 September 2025 requiring services that provide or host pornography and other age-restricted (class 1C / class 2) material to use appropriate age assurance to keep out users under 18; the codes took effect on 9 March 2026. Technology-neutral methods are allowed (ID, facial age estimation, credit card, digital ID). Separate from the December 2025 under-16 social-media age limit.
